ANTI-INFLAMMATORY FOODS | what I eat every week

These are the anti-inflammatory foods I eat every week to reduce inflammation in my body. An anti-inflammatory diet can help with reducing joint pain and arthritis, healing the gut (key if you have celiac, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s or IBS), getting rid of eczema and psoriasis, and keeping other autoimmune conditions such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis in check. It’s also beneficial if you suffer from anxiety or depression.

I became well versed in wholesome, anti-inflammatory foods several years ago when I embraced a whole foods diet. After being diagnosed with four autoimmune diseases in two years I realized my body was fighting massive immune system inflammation and I needed to provide reinforcements. Those reinforcements came in the form of groceries.

Watch the video for the list of anti-inflammatory foods – it’s what I eat every week. And enjoy the full blog post below all the healthy recipes on my website!

  1. I had to scroll through a few pages of "Anti-inflammatory diet" results before I finally got to this video which actually gave me practical suggestions and a concise information, not just debating processed foods. Thank you.

  2. Plz suggest anti inflamatory protein source and carbohydrate source. These r spices but some substantial food is needed throughout day

    Plz guide

  3. I liked your recopies. Most of them have ingredients that are not hard to get and you give a heads up on when you are using special equipment. I tried the Classic Broccoli Salad. Everyone liked it!

  4. Im not sure there is such a thing as anti-inflammatory diets. Apparently, all foods cause inflammation.

  5. This is the first video youtube suggested to me for anti-inflammatory foods. I’m wondering if you have an updated video with current anti-inflammatory food suggestions? Also can you share the source of your "well researched". I’ve talked with 3 nutritionists and all have said there’s extremely little research done about anti-inflammatory foods. Our local hospitals don’t carry anti-inflammatory food lists and my own doctor doesn’t have any research to help guide me. I feel on an island with this and rabbit food is unsustainable as a lifestyle, it just leaves you hungry.

  6. Can anyone advise me please, do all these foods need to be in fresh form? Or can I buy frozen and get the same benefit?

  7. I’ve always felt like my aloe vera juice drinks help me a lot but I’ve never known if they’re actually helpful, do you drink/know about aloe vera juice?

  8. I have RA and have a severe food allergies (peanuts and other nuts, tuna, salmon, wheat, beef, eggs, fish, crab and other crustaceans, soybeans, milk), bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, and I wonder if you can help me… 😢

  9. Wow! I’ve just come across your videos (looking at best way to poach eggs) and this is perfect for me having been recently diagnosed with MS, in NZ. Thank you!

  10. How do you deal with the purines that come from the fatty fish? Purines can give you uric acid. There is no low-fat dairy here that might remove it.

  11. Carnivore diet seems to be standing out as the modern day most anti-inflammatory diet. While spinach and blackberries have nutritional benefits, including antioxidants, they have high levels of oxalates that can cause kidney problems, but more importantly, oxalates can accumulate in different parts of the body such as joints and the brain leading to auto immune like symptoms in joints and brain aging diseases like Alzheimer’s.

  12. I’m back!!! Sorry for the long break as I’ve had lots of work travel over the last month. I hope you enjoy this new video and all the gems of knowledge on healthy, anti-inflammatory foods. Do you eat all of these foods? Which are your favorites? xo – Lisa

  14. Рыба очень сомнительный пункт этого списка, любая рыба это потенциальный аллерген.
И почему в вашем списке нет красного мяса типа оленины или говядины.

  15. Fish can be high in mercury because they absorb mercury from the water they live in and from the prey they eat:  Bread bad had Gluten and sprayed with
glyphosate, a broad-spectrum herbicide, to control weeds wheat bad for you. :

  16. Spinach smoothie could be really dangerous because of high amount of oxalates and it could, in some cases, lead to kidney failure.

  17. What can you do with anchovies? I got a tin of some nice ones from Trader Joe’s without bones or skin. My brothers used to eat the boney ones and it grossed me out. Hope they are still healthy without bones.

  18. I’m allergic to 80% of these but I still eat them since I have too many allergies lol >.<

  19. Avocado and tuna could be good. Avocados are actually grown in the Central valley of California. The Central valley California has oranges apples grapes nut trees. I think I’m totally done with processed food I mean natural food is so much more delicious. Thank God they’re protected farmlands.
